How does this look better than 'The Devil Inside'?

I'm not defending 'The Devil Inside', but this doesn't look any better. Some religious themes and *beep* plan. I mean, come on. Is this how horror movies have to be this day?

I'm not even blaming the movie, it's just: Why the hell does this get soo much anticipation? Film forums all over the web are excited to see this. Why? It's nothing new. Even if it gets good ratings, where is this fan crowd coming from?

I thought Devil Inside was really cheesy and had a terrible ending. This was just really generic and actually had a good ending. Vatican Tapes was a little better imo

I agree. Also don't forget that this board was created before the movie was released.
