So is this what the film industry has come to?

This movie is obviously fake. The "exorcist" is played by Italian actor Piero Maggiò.

What makes me angry is that the filmmakers keep on telling us throughout the film that it's a "true story" and that we're witnessing "real footage" of "real supernatural events".

I mean seriously, how much contempt can you have for your audience? How stupid do you think we are?

What? Your obviously on the wrong board, wrong actor and your commenting on a film that hasn't even been made yet.

You're right, my bad. It had a very similar title.

Clearly you're kind if an idiot, but just to pretend you're not, the gimmicks of found footage and mockumentary (which of course this film is neither, but whatever film you're nattering on about clearly is) is not new, nor are they intended to fool anyone with an IQ over 70.

As far as what the film industry has "come to," it has always been an industry working on a broad spectrum. Your outrage is noted, and it's a little amusing. I'm encouraged to search for more of your posts whenever I'm in need of a giiggle. And, of course, I may find myself asking "Is this what humanity has come to?"

Movies are IQ tests; the IMDB boards are how people broadcast their score.
