One sounds of royalty and the other just sounds like they would in real life.

Classic.

Florence Pugh, like Zendaya, seems completely out of place in the Dune universe.

So much each version of Dune gets right, and gets wrong.
The 80's version really captured something close to what I
imagined in my head while I was reading Dune. But the
Harkonnens were over the top cartoonish. The newer
version tried to be closer to the story, but the look was cheap
and the characters just looked Hollywood.

When I read Dune it seemed to have some interesting ideas
and value, but when I look at it now, I just feel nothing. While
I was reading it, I thought I was reading an epic imaginary
story, but then the book was over, and then over the next
years author Frank Herbert kept adding other books and getting
way to ridiculous, and now his son is or was writing sequels too.

It all pushed back on the original book, and it is not really
Science Fiction, it is more space future fantasy, and just not
what I personally care for. There really is not much real
science fiction written anymore. There has to be a fantastic
element with familiar things for the unwashed masses like
dragons and time travel.
