Unlike other "indy" films, the person behind this has been pumping them out since '87. Don't diss on Araki.
Also, I don't understand your problem with independent films. They're great, if you ask me. An unaltered version of the artist's vision.
If they're not your thing, that's cool. Don't watch them. No one is making you.
I heard a new Transformers movie is coming in a few months. Enjoy that. Go post on it's message board.

What does the subject of said 'indy' film have to do with its categorization? There's no parameters on a film's theme/story/character attributes, etc., with regards to it being classified as an 'indy' film.
In short, you have no idea what you're talking about.
