Ok...
As a Gregg Araki fan, and after waiting a lot of time for a new movie, I was totally disappointed with Kaboom.
It had some funny moments I must say, but it's so many miles away from The Doom Generation, Mysterious Skin and Smiley Face. It kind of reminded me of Nowhere, one of my least favorite ones.
I'm not even sure I get Araki's idea with this. Is he saying that most teenagers have such empty lives that they start to fantasize something is actually happening? (I'm the main victim for a conspiracy group, the world is about to end, everyone's involved, etc?). I'd appreciate if someone could clear that up :)
