This is hilarious ... someone finally figured out how to make Vince Vaughn seem funny.

shareI thought he was good in Wedding Crashers (2005). I didn't think he could be funny, but he has a good deadpan delivery that works.
shareI cannot bear him in Curb Your Enthusiasm, or anything else, but somehow this worked well. Maybe it was the narration that gives it a different feeling where his deadpan fits in better.
shareI think his delivery is a little slower than when he was younger but, he has some great riffs in this show. At first i thought it difficult to buy him as this physical, intimidating cop but then the camera panned out and you seem him adjacent to other characters and he towers over everybody else.
shareI gotta say, the Dragon Lady was beautiful. I wish they didn’t give her that crazy false tooth
shareI first discovered how funny VV was upon seeing the outtakes on the Made (2001) DVD. He had Favreau, Faison Love and even Peter Falk cracking up with his improvs. For those who haven't seen the movie, the first scene is mob boss Max (Falk) has just finished explaining a meticulously planned out "business trip" to NYC for two jamokes (Fav and VV) where they have per diem, pagers with an extra battery, a 24 hour car service that they can call under the account name Cardiff-Giant, all to the end that with one phone call from Falk, there is no place in NYC they cannot be in fifteen minutes (movie time). Oh, and they can *never* mention Max's name to anyone...

The funny parts are basically done around 22:35, but the rest showcases his dramatic acting improv skills.
he has always been funny, just got cast in terrible roles.
