After changing out of my shitting pants, I'd procure a sword!

A spear would be better. Despite the samurai magic of Michonne, swords are not great at destroying the brain inside a human skull. Decapitations are not that quick and easy either. Not to mention, you have to get within one arm's distance.

A spear is a much better option to keep them at range and pike them in the head at distance.

Much easier to just spike the brains with one of these than trying to chop heads and cleave skulls with a sword.
