I'm so glad I found this board. Did they ever reveal what Dr Jenner whispered in Rick's ear at the end of season 1?

I'm so glad I found this board. I stopped watching in season 7 around the time the IMDB boards shutdown and there was no one to discuss with.

Did they ever reveal what Dr Jenner whispered in Rick's ear at the end of season 1? I was hoping they'd finally get around to it.

Yes. He informed him that everyone carried the contagion and everyone would rise after death even if they were not bitten.

It's as close to literally a different show, as figuratively can get. It's unbelievable when you look back.

Just think of what kind of show it would have been if Frank Darabont had stayed with the show as showrunner. His plans for future seasons sounded awesome.

I always thought the same thing; a lot of respect for him, in the genre. I've never heard of the plans he had. I have to look that up now.

Yup. I recently re-watched season 1 and it's just unreal good. Stopped watching at season 9, and I wont be back. Can't believe I made it that far.

I re-watched a few of the season 1 episodes a few months back. I'd forgotten just how good it was.
