Last 25 minutes cut off

Another reason to hate my cable provider...

reply

You don't need to see. Just look at the flowers...

reply

Saw it. So sad...

reply

Oh you must also have DirecTV. Wasn't that infuriating!! I just watched the rest of the episode on AMC.com. I have to warn you, it's pretty upsetting.

reply

I noticed on mine it was scheduled for the usual 1 hour block, but after about 45 minutes, it expanded. I could see how it would cut off for people who prerecord, because the duration change happened while it was airing.

reply

Yep, I do prerecord. I'm just thankful for AMC.com!

reply

No, I have Spectrum (f/k/a Time Warner Cable). The programming blocked the usual 60 minutes and had Badlands starting at 10:00. I didn't have Badlands scheduled to record on my DVR.

I managed to record a later showing. I really expected to see
Lydia
on the pike.

reply

I expected to see her too but I guess Alpha couldn't do it. She certainly was able to make a big statement though, and give Lydia grief and guilt for the rest of her life! I can't wait til Alpha's taken out!

reply

I think that is one area where they won't deviate from the comics.

reply

I never read the comics, just started watching the show because I'm a horror fanatic and never stopped. I think it's the best show on television. It's not perfect and some episodes are better than others, but I absolutely love it!

reply

Yea, total BS. I had it recorded for its run time (1:00) and it cut out 20 minutes early. Had to scramble on to AMC.com like you. Really pissed me off, getting fed up with Direct TV.

reply

I am too! We upgraded our equipment a few months ago and it's been nothing but problems. It resets itself while we're watching, the remotes don't always work and we have to reboot it constantly. We used to love DirecTV but it's so problematic now.

reply

Constant glitches and freezing while watching live TV, its the worst while watching a live sports event. I've had techs come out and "fix" it, but nothing changed

reply

I'm really sorry about that, it must be infuriating. It seems that all this started after AT&T took it over. They really ruined a good thing :-(

Do we have to register on AMC.com or can we just drop in and watch it?

Asking just in case it happens again. My DVR showing got cut off too!

reply

I had to register but it only takes a minute and it was well worth it to be able to watch the rest of the show.

What was annoying was that there are A LOT of commercials that you can't fast forward. If you register for the
commercial free membership, of course, there are no commercials but that's a paid subscription, not something I
would be interested in. Hopefully it'll be a long time until I have to do that again, if ever :-)

reply

Verizon FIOS cut off the DVR as well at 1 hour mark. But the encore performance at 2:00 AM was uncut.

reply

Worked fine on my Sky Q at least

reply

Worked fine for me as well I have YouTube tv

reply

Me too. I recorded the second showing and extended it a half hour. Directtv is usually damn good to me, I'll allow a occasional hiccup.
