They were talking and possibly fighting back. I like these more intelligent walkers.

It should be interesting to see if this will make them a real threath again like in the beginning before everyone learned to handle them, the characters have to rethink their tactics and start taking them more seriously, a welcome twist i have to say.

The new show runner deserves a raise. She's doing a great job! Walking Dead seems exciting again. And scarier.

not intelligent or evolved walkers to reason with - just the next threat from 'the whisperers' who are a group of survivors who have pushed through the zombie apocalypse by wearing suits made from human flesh, designed to let them blend in with the walkers and directing the walker herds, which is what Aaron was thinking/saying are the evolved walkers but there not.

Aaron was talking about the walkers standing and circling around, which what the whisperers are directing them to do, apart from plot convenient walkers that are super silent and deadly or suddenly appear from nowhere, the walkers haven't evolved slightly, but I'm pretty sure the initial new episodes will try and make it look like the walkers have somehow gained intelligence to Aaron and the survivors.

It would be great if the walkers somehow become a more bigger threat without the whisperers involved but that might be asking too much.

Hopefully the survivor group is back on the road rather then setting up homes/communities.

that's the other question what's negan's role going to be since the time jump because will he do as the comics or will it be changed in anyway.

Hopefully the rest of the community atleast is all spread out/disbanded and going different directions or taking on the whisperers, because majority of the old timers will have to get the chop to make way for the bigger cast for the whisperer war.

Yeah, it's just the whisperers pretending to be zombies. But man, evolving zombies would be so much better. I wish they did that. I honestly don't think Kirkman's imaginative enough for that, though.
