Season nine the last?

I'm just wondering what everyone thinks.
Do you think this should be the last season?

Just my personal feeling, this thing died a long time ago. I think at the LATEST, season 6 should've been the last. Though many are still loyal, so it could go on forever. I've heard Kirkman was committed to another 10 seasons, but I think it's just a rumor at this point. End it with everyone dead, end it with a world rebuilt, but just end it. It needs to be laid to rest.

I still like the show. I wish to see it continued. It's a shame that the fans are killing it. No blood and killing, all the fans stop watching, big coincidence. If a dumb show like Supernatural keeps going, The Walking Dead definitely needs a pass too.

Well, that's sure not the case for me. I haven't seen that complaint anywhere.

The writing went south particularly season 7 and 8 where it just became boring and realistic character motives abandoned just to advance their even worse ideas, too many good characters killed off and replaced with people nobody cares about and the few remaining good characters completely neglected.

This season is better...the writing is a nice change...but will people be able to invest in these characters?
I know the creators have a long life in mind if they can pull it off.
It's their golden goose.

Maybe make season 10 a good number the last though many say it will keep going.

I thought season 8 was the weakest. Season 9 is a big improvement, especially the writing.

Essentially season 9 is the last...whatever they're doing now is an attempt to reboot into a different show with TWD brand.
I think with this they are hopeful to keep keeping on indefinitely..
