Does the way Rick carry his hatchet bother anyone else?

This has made me uncomfortable for a while. He's got his hatchet mounted to his belt, edge facing forward, completely uncovered. So dangerous. You'd have to be mega conscious not to swing your arm into it even when just taking a walk. Surely they have someone there that could knock him up a nice little leather sheath? When their community evolves to have someone in charge of H&S, they're going to have a field day lol.

I suppose a moot point if he's not going to be on the show for much longer. Perhaps he nicks his Ulnar or Radial artery and that's what offs him heh.

A hatchet? What's a hatchet?

Small axe.

One of the great things about having a Mac is that you can select a word, right click and look up its definition.

you can do that on a pc too.
In the old days we had to "Extrapolate from context" Theres not enough of that goes on these days - thinking for yourself.
Whats mounted on ricks belt?
which of those things could cut you?
and is not in a sheath?
Thats a hatchet!

Yeah. I was in two minds on spending my time clarifying that. I mean, Google is 0.5 seconds away after all.

Goes to pick a new tomato to play with, nicks the Radial. RIP Rick.

That is a good point. He should have a kind of hatchet sheath on his belt. I know often times when I am walking close to something my pockets will snag on a knob or handle or something and stop me dead in my tracks if I am walking. If that was a hatchet it could be much worse.

But we cannot have Rick taking up the time in every episode to carefully unsnap his hatchet and pull it out, then clean it and put it back.
