what I both dread and bet about the time jump

We'll sadly see a repeat of what they did with Fear the Walking Dead this season, with multiple timelines. They'll show the new current timeline, and characters close to Rick and Maggie, such as Michonne, Carol, Daryl, Enid, will make vague allusions and references to past events, and flashbacks will explain away Rick and Maggie.

I am so sick of time jumps used in television series these days. I used to think that dream sequences were the most annoying, aggravating sleight-of-hand over-used storytelling gimmick there was...then these friggin' time jumps came along and supplanted them.

Time jumps happenall te time in tv shows in less overt ways, Law & Order is nothing but time jumps. lol.
