shareAh, maybe that's the reason. Never really saw him fight until this episode so it took me by surprise. That or the long season wait that made me forget most of the past season already.
shareYou're either forgetting or haven't seen season 6, where he first appeared. He smacked around a BUNCH of people, and essentially Batmanned his way out of numerous ties, imprisonments and the like. Jesus is a high-level physical specimen; this is true in both the books and the TV show. On the other hand, Morgan learned some stick-fighting from a random guy in a cabin for a few months. If anything, *his* skill level is severely over-emphasized. Both in this scene, and the show in general.
