All this padding and build up for a poorly filmed fight that made little sense.

- The ambush was ridiculous, even if the Garbage Pail kids had not been traitors, it was obvious that something was up with Rick and the other standing there instead of letting Negan in. No element of surprise at all.

- The Garbage Pail kids had the numbers to instantly kill all of Rick's group as soon as Carl starting shooting.

- The Kingdom and Hilltop somehow knew that something was about to go down at Alexandria? The only reason Rick set up the ambush was because Dwight warned them.

- Alexandria has one entrance and nobody saw The Kingdom and Hilltop arriving?

- The Kingdom's "army" consist of about 8 people, one cat and one horse? Seriously?

One more thing: Have the writers forgotten about Heath?

Yes I've been saying it went deep into "walker Texas ranger" territory. Just stupid shots of people firing guns at nobody. Bad guys just falling down for no reason. The show has never looked this dumb. I am rooting for negan to kill the king, Maggie, michonne, and rick at this point. Daryl can live.

Agree with everything except for the first point, since they wanted them to stand there so they could blow them up with the explosives. Why they don't just do it on the road is a better question tho.
