What kind of war do you hope they will fight?
Will it be Napoleon style warfare, with large columns of troops with artillery support and hand to hand combat? Or guerrilla warfare with small unit ambush attacks and a lot of hit and run tactics? Or are they going to be more urban warfare, invading each others camps and bases, going door to door and stealing, killing, harassing each other. Or are they going to employ small tactical assaults on key figures and components like destroying all their supply convoys, to prevent them from being able to support the war they need to fight?
Lots of choices in the style of warfare and I hope the producers don't fuck it up by getting some lame airmen as their military consultant instead of a war hardened Marine. We saw some of that lack of tactical knowledge in their action sequence in the finale. I was kind of disappointed in that scene. Didn't really convince me that they were in the middle of a battle based on how they were all positioned and fighting ................ and actually winning? They really need a good military consultant if they want to do a lot more battle scenes.
