Is Rosita's cheek mark in the comicbook TWD?

Does she keep it permanently? I'm referring to the mark I saw on her cheek at the end of the last ep, does it become a scar?

It happens to andrea in the comics in the prison arc. Some guy jumps her with a knife and slashes her and almost kills her.
Rosita is pretty much a minor character in the comics, they are making her a bit more of a star on the show.
To answer your question though, on andrea...it is a defining feature so i wouldn't be surprised to see her with a scar later on

Thanks for the info! I know that the show's makers like to give storylines from certain characters in the books to different characters on the show....

Her scar is permanent. That cockslap was really hard.
