S3E9 Sarah - Flaw in Timeline

I've just finished this episode and my problem with this is that Duke absorbed his Grandfathers trouble, so that would mean the end of the Crocker family trouble. But when they get back to present day Haven, nothing has altered. What about all the troubles that Duke's dad, and the few troubles that Duke had absorbed? Shouldn't all those people they killed still be alive and their troubles in effect? Unless this issue is addressed in the next episode, it's a major flaw.

Also, I hope that Tommy comes back, or we find out more information about him like what his interest is in the Colorado Kid etc as it feels like an unfinished story arc at the moment.

By the end of season 3, Tommy's interest in the Colorado kid will be explained.

Regarding 'Sarah' and if I remember right, when Duke came back from the past, everything was reset to the moment he left, so it was as if he did not absorb his grandpa's blood. Also, when he and Nathan went back in time, Audrey was left behind in and alternate Haven where Garland was alive and Nathan was dead. That too was reset once Nathan and Duke came back.

I'm glad they finished Tommy's story arc, but I hope Audrey's son comes back.

Yes, everything did reset to how it was when Duke and Nathan returned from the past, but my problem is that Duke absorbed his Grandfather's blood so that should have made the Crocker troubles non existent in the future, therefore all the people they 'helped' in the old future could not have been helped so then the future they returned to should have been different. The butterfly effect. Unless Duke couldn't absorb his own power, but his eyes changed to silver same as all the other troubles he absorbs.

Just finished S4E4 where Lexie/Audrey gets back to Haven. Have to say, I picked the ending where she was still Lexie and hadn't regained Audrey's memories.

I'm really not liking The Guard at all, especially Jordan's character. I hope they back off a bit, they're spoiling the story line for me. Vince being the leader took me by surprise. I got the impression from an earlier episode (don't remember what one) that he was going to have some sort of trouble, like maybe not dying or something, so someone would always know Haven's history. Guess I was wrong on that one.

The Crocker Curse is that they can absorb Troubled blood but in order to cure a Troubled person, they have to be the one to kill that person.

The Troubled blood only makes them stronger and have the silver eyes. This can be seen several times where Duke gets Troubled blood him, the first time it was Dwight's.

Since it was Sarah who killed Duke's grandfather, it not a Crocker Curse cure. The Crocker has to be the one to 'pull the trigger'.

The Guard is there for a reason and, yes, they do use illegal tactics to protect the Troubled. They also help people around the globe who are Troubled and let them know there is a safe Haven to come to. IMO, the Guard's activities are no different from what Haven Police Department has done. Audrey and Nathan have crossed the line several times like when Audrey wanted Duke to kill the Farmer to cure his family's curse.

Of course! I completely forgot that a Crocker has to actually kill the person themselves, was just thinking the person had to die and a Crocker absorb their blood for their Trouble to end.

I guess I just haven't warmed to The Guard, they come across as brutish and vengeful to me. Nathan and Audrey have crossed the line usually as a last resort, and they have helped others to conquer their troubles whereas The Guard just want her to kill Nathan without trying to look for other alternatives. Anyway, I'm up to S4E9 and it looks like killing Nathan is no longer an option to stop the Troubles.

There's another flaw. Not specifically having to do with this episode, although there may be a connection.

The "Missing" poster for James Cogan lists DOB: August 31, 1956.

If, as I suspect, Nathan is James' father, from his date with Sarah on the beach, then the timeline of James' conception OR birth is wrong. It was summer-ish when Sarah arrives in Haven with Mr. Moseley. DOB 8/31 would mean conception occurred in autumn, probably November sometime.

First time watching it, but the DOB on the missing poster finally clicked as I was watching the "previously on Haven" part before S.3 Ep.10
