Netflix has 13 episodes Season 5. IMDB shows 26?

So I just finished watching Haven on netflix and observed imdb shows 26 episodes for the final season. Is this correct? Or was episode 13 the actual finale? o.O

Season 5 has 26 episodes, the first 13 (5a) aired about a year ago, and the second 13 (5b) aired last fall. The show ended last December and Netflix hasn't uploaded part b yet. So, you still have 13 episodes to watch.

Not really, they did it with Sanctuary, warehouse 13 and two seasons of Eureka.

I think it's just a contractual technicality that allowed SyFy to spend less money. Union rules dictate certain compensation minimums based on how long a show airs, and a sixth season is more expensive than a fifth season.

So they just found a smoke and mirrors way of making six seasons technically into five.

Or I could be totally wrong.

OMG!!!! That's the best news ever!!! Seriously, I've been sick and I just finished episode 13 and I was like totally heartbroken.
