As a huge fan of Steven King, was very cautious when started watching Haven. Got hooked. Fell in love. And as much as I was sorry to watch the series end I have to praise the makers: it was THE BEST SERIES END I HAVE EVER SEEN. Full stop.

I loved it too! So glad they did a U-turn and went back to the original arcs and storylines they veered away from, in order to stretch things out. It was no surprise that certain characters ended up dying, since we were pretty much spoon fed those facts early on, but the ending is not what I had imagined, it was better!
I accepted how Nathan said goodbye to Audrey and finally let her go. He seemed to be at peace with his decision and life. He'd be sad for a long time, but boy did he grow emotionally since they met in season one! Then, when Paige showed up with their baby, I nearly lost it! We knew Audrey would have taken any opportunity to get back to Nathan and then let him pull her out from underneith this newest persona. The closest to a "Happily ever after" we could have expected and it was perfect!
Agreed it was a great ending with a lot of feel good but not overdone. The one exception to me is the moronic way Dwight was able to wish the aether copy of his daughter " real".

I agree; I loved it. It made me cry so much, but it was so well done. It is lovely to see a series where they are able to plan the ending, rather than something that just stops because it gets suddenly cancelled.
The way they ended Duke's story was just so heartbreaking, but so beautiful at the same time. And so, so lovely to see Nathan find some happiness. I'm re-watching it already :)

I loved the characters and the whole mythology the entire series was just the best.
Hated that they killed duke off even though its been said since the beginning. I disagree that he had to go though. I would have preferred that he lived.
Loved seeing the almost same scene recreation of the first episode with natgan finding Paige. Of course i would have preferred it be Audrey there. But i feel that she will start to remember with Nathan's help.
I cried and cried over it i have tge entire series to watch on blu ray. Honestly the best show ever.
If you haven't seen it Watch Six Feet Under. It has THE Greatest Series Finale Ever. The Whole Series Must Be watched For the total payoff. Eric Balfour Had a reoccurring roll.
