I couldn't get past 22 mins of 1st episode. TERRIBLE
Her personality sums up everything I hate about women these days. Rude. Arrogant. Pushy. Ungrateful. Opinionated. And this show is meant to be entertaining?

well, maybe the show has merit, but it was a terrible 1st impression.

The first three seasons were the best, after an admittedly rocky start. I wasn't sure I could like it, but half way into season one, I was hooked. Then season 4 and 5a were kind of filler that almost ruined it for many long time fans. 5b jumped back on track and ended pretty strong. I, personally, LOVED the ending of the series, though some didn't or were left unsure. Audrey and her relationships with the townspeople grew to be so good and especially the relationship with her partner, Nathan. The chemistry was just amazing and the actors are the best of friends. Really made you feel their connection. I'll remember the show (and Naudrey) fondly.
sharePam put it here perfectly.
shareWow, I also vouch for Pam's interpretation of the show's quality. Ep1 was quite shameful because it just ripped off an 'X-Files (Rain King, s6), but the show did become a little special some time after and I especially liked season two. "Filler" is the word I'd use to sum up most of post-season three. What happened? Such a fantastic shame. It's like none of the story mattered after a while. Did they change the writers? Were they the same writers moonlighting from season three's Under the Dome? I just this moment started a thread about the seasons of Haven.

I started it about a week ago and I'm up to episode 10. I really like it so far. I don't think Audrey is that bad and what's wrong with being opinionated?

There is nothing wrong with Audrey. I have watched every episode of Haven and the only time Audrey was ever portrayed the way the OP describes was when Mara was in control of her body.
ITA-Maura was the bitchy one
Intothenight,
Agree. Ugh. And not for the reasons you mention....the writing, the acting, ugh.
I know others really like it, but....ugh.

i absolutely adore Audrey. she is absolutely not rude, ungrateful, or arrogant. this is one of the best done series i think i've ever seen. no, i didn't like season 4 and 5 as much, but overall ,this was a creative, well thought out series. love the actors. love the show.

Agree. I love Audrey and like you, I didn't like seasons 4 or 5. For me, the show went off track after the season 3 finale.
Now you're messin' with a...
"women these days." What a sexist remark! If you're uncomfortable with a strong female lead, then this isn't the show for you.
