Judy Greer told The Hollywood Reporter that her going fully topless in the first episode wasn't in the script. Producers asked her if she wanted to wear pasties for the scene where she's struggling to pull off her shirt in front of Keegan-Michael Key, but she refused because trying to shoot around them was a "a pain in the ass."

So she told them, "Let's just do the scene and then you guys can just deal with my boobs in the editing room." When the scene was edited together, they were like, "Well, we have two versions, and there is a version where we can see your breasts, and it's very funny. We're never putting this in the show if you don't want to, but why don't you come and see what you think?"

When she saw it, she agreed it was funny. Being naked on camera never bothered her, so she told them to keep it in.
