the monologue, ruined by men

I don't get this. Why go, just to be intent on ruining it? I only saw it in theaters once, and I didn't notice this happening, but doesn't mean it didn't.

I'm a man, and I understand why that moment was important, so I wouldn't want to make fun of it. I didn't care for that moment though. But not because I can't stomach the message. Honestly my problem with the monologue is that it felt like it was cobbled together from half a dozen memes I've seen over the years.

You couldn’t pay me to watch this garbage…but I truly am happy for the ladies that they finally have a movie that gets them all fired up and ready to hate us men a little more than they already do, haha.

I also think it’s pathetic to go to a movie you hate to heckle people or the movie itself, BUT…you can’t tell me it isn’t fun watching everyone compete to try and see who has the biggest victim complex. This is stuff for the ages. Read any comments section about this movie and there is a full fledged war going on. Haha.

I’m loving the arguments Barbie created between women and men, and everybody in between. This shit is classic. They’re all fighting over who is the bigger victim in society. You can’t make this shit up. 🤣

When every week there is a new “controversy”, you just have to sit back and laugh at this point.

Its not important, nobody gives a shit.

Apparently some people think otherwise, but good job on illustrating the point that the kind of people who need the message are the ones whose heads it went over :)
