This movie is blatantly ANTI-MALE, and yet surprisingly, Rotten Tomatoes gives it 90% from both critics and audiences - manipulation, much?
You should know by now the basic business model of movie rating sites is to take money from big movie studios, there is probably a market rate on each vote based on level and maybe locale, 10s, 9s ,8s, each probably gets a different price.

Public" enjoying a movie that depicts men as so deplorable it's just normal for someone to have their ass slapped in broad daylight?
