As usual, it's all about the politics when it comes to these movies.
It shouldn’t be political at all, but from that review the film sounds as woke as we all feared, with Ken benefitting from the ‘patriarchal’ real world.
That would be a great message if they travelled into an Islamic country where women are treated like dogshit, but in the contemporary West institutions bend over backwards to elevate and revere women, showering them with special treatment, while men are crapped on from all angles (including popular entertainment like this)
What a shame, this could have been a fun ride, but it’s more tedious woke propaganda that I will not be funding.
I think it is targeting a younger mostly teen audience when brainwashing is the most effective, so that is just too tempting not to do it.
I think that is why there is an unified push from everywhere to promote this movie.
I just found out if you search anything related to the movie Google page would turn pink and sparkles, I don't think money alone would do that, the tech billionaires are mostly democrat supporters. I think it is the collective will of the liberal elites.
Neither will I. As a parent of sons, I'm sick of it.
