Q:
So other projects. The Host. There’s been talk of a sequel. Is that —

SM:
It’s partially written. This is where I’m dealing with the most frustrating writer’s block, where I just know everything that happens. Maybe I need to do it on my recorder and just have someone else type it up. I don’t know.

if there is going to be a sequel to the host it better be in book form first!

Reading the book now for about the millionth time and I always wanted another book. Another movie I could do without and be ok.

I saw Stephenie on a video stating she had 10 years to write the book sequels before they would make movie sequels without there being any books. Let's hope SM gets the books out before then.

Did you know SM has a new book coming out next month?

I think if a movie sequel came out before a book sequel..I wouldn't watch it.

As far as a book goes, I am torn between seeing more of Melanie and Wanda, and learning about Burns Living Flowers from the end. Or maybe that soul family with the human child they saw on a raid. That would be an interesting story.

Yeah. It wouldn't be the author's vision ... unless the author wrote the screenplay, or co-wrote the screenplay. And even then, it just wouldn't have the same feel. 

I believe one book sequel was to be about the seekers, and the other about the souls. Not sure what all that entails.
