When they were discussing possible Freddy Vs Jason endings where Freddy and Jason end up in hell at the end of the movie. It talks about hooks coming out and hooking them to the ground and then Pinhead (from Hellraiser) comes out and says "So gentlemen... what seems to be the problem?) Did ANYONE else feel like that would have been the greatest ending in movie history??
shareI do think that Hellraiser cant really mix with the Freddy and Jason group.Freddy and Jason is cheesy and fun , Hellraiser is dead serious in tone (I am mostly talking about the first two and part 4 the rest dosnt really count) Having him in Freddy vs Jason would have been a bit WTF because Pinhead is not interesting in talking about problem of people in hell,he just want to tear up people skins and enjoy all the torture is inflicting on them...
sharei am sooo glad that never happened. he didnt belong there and it would have just been a cheesy excuse to thrown in another horror icon. this movie was the result of almost 20yrs of theories and fan conversations/hopes and then a good 10yrs of developpement.
it wasn't just a last ditch, last minute effort or excuse to throw them together for the hell of it. there was precedence both within the horror community and the movies themselves with the little nod in Jason Goes To Hell. the whole "VS Ash" thing would have worked too because that same Jason movie featured the necronomicon and the dagger so there was a connection you know?
but Pinhead would have totally been a WTF moment and kinda killed the mood for me. it would have almost been like implying that Freddy and Jason together weren't enough so here's someone else you kids love.

It's a shame they couldn't strike a deal with Disney to get the rights. They would have been an amazing ending.
