about the fights

Hello I m not a fighter so I wanted to know: When someone is trained to fight (like most characters in this movie), can he/she take 10 hits (punch, kick etc...) and still fight? I thought with training you would hit harder, learn to avoid, and maybe become a bit tougher (more resistant) but even with training can you take hard hits and still stand and fight like that?!
I mean when Mallory fights with Michael Fassbender character the fight starts with Mallory being hit from behind cause the guy basically takes her by surprise and hits her in the back of the neck (or head), could someone still fight after that? (I guess a non trained person would faint, but a trained person wouldn't?? it seems unreal.

No one can take the shots that are depicted in the movies. She survives boiling coffee thrown in her face, a rabbit punch and shots that if the character didn't get knocked out they would certainly be rendered so incapacitated that would not be able to defend themselves let alone triumph in the fight.

This is a movie. The technique in these fight scenes are by far the most realistic I have ever seen. The CGC skills aka Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu are far better than any angelina jolie, chuck norris, or Jan claude van damme movie ever. The woman is and was a pro fighter.

I suggest you read the original persons question again. As far as realistic, I suggest to you that the techniques maybe "realistic", in movie land, or in a controlled environment like a bout however they are not deployed in real life. Unless of course you have a static target. As for her being a pro fighter, I suggest you look at her last fight and the lack of hits she took before she capitulated.

Do you mean her fight against a roided up monster? I'm not sure how many hits anybody could take from the hulk.

As for those techniques not being 'deployed in real life' I'm pretty sure mixed martial arts by its very nature is useful in most combat situations, it's called mixed martial arts for a reason, it takes the most effective techniques from a variety of disciplines.

I train mma and yes she could.

I liked Gina Joy Carano's fight scenes in the film.

One of my favorite was when she grabbed Aarons belt in the diner at the beginning to roll him over for the arm bar.

The real mma fight Gina had with Cyborg/Chris Santos should have been given a NO CONTEST by the officials since Cyborg was juiced. I felt Gina was cheated.

You mean, I'm lucky that the same "boiling" coffee doesn't kill me each day when drinking it?
