It is simply because people are stupid and can't use their brains for 1 hour and 33 minutes full stop the end :)

I thought it was because they went into the film wrongly thinking it was a hot chick action movie and were totally butt-hurt when there was no T&A to fap off to.

Why do people so frequently get told to read the book on a movie database?

It's rated a 5.8 which is a bit high I think . 5/10 IMO . The film had no plot , endless boring running and fighting , Gina was wooden , the great cast was totally wasted and under used . I excepted so much more from sodenberg

5.8 is better than I expected, considering how harshly female-led action movies can be graded.

I would give it a 6. It looked good and the fight scenes (sans heavy-handed music) felt realistic.
