This movie is not worthy of the Oscars it achieved? Please... if you say such a thing you definitely cannot appreciate art in the form of a movie when you're presented a fine example.

This movie has everything: tremendous acting, great dialogue, wonderful cinematography and an amazing score to complement all that.

I just watched this movie for the first time. You may like other movies from the same year better than this one, but please don't go as far as entering the realm of pure nonsense by saying this movie didn't deserve the awards it got. The academy made its choice, and it was a fine one, as it would have been if the other nominees got it

All I know is that this was a very well crafted movie, so that makes me certain the criticism over it winning in all the major Oscars' categories comes down to a popularity contest (in which this movie falls short in comparison to Inception or the Social Network) and not to objective reasoning.
I don't think the Social Network would ever be, at all, eligible for an Oscar (in the major categories) against the other 2, but between Inception and the King's Speech, I think any one of the 2 could have taken the Oscars home...
