It's at 93% on RT right now. So far so good. Most say it's the best since the original.
shareIt’s fair to say it is, for the most part, receiving rave reviews (yeah it’s early but things are looking great for it). And indeed the consensus is that this is the best Halloween film since the original (“Oh, the opinion of some critics and audiences at a festival means nothing!”). Nice.
With that in mind, I can already see the “overrated” threads popping up several weeks from now, ‘specially from those expecting to hate it. Ha.
At any rate, all signs point to a worthy successor to the original, for sure.
People are so jaded it's how it is today, every single film out is the best they've ever seen, and it gets forgotten about in a week.
shareReally good news! I honestly didn't expect this to get such good reviews.
I was gonna see it in the theater regardless of the reviews, but now I'm even more psyched to see it.
