Nick Castle is returning to Haddonfield for the first time in 40 years. He will once again don the Shatner mask, knife and coveralls and resurrect (*ducks*) Michael Myers. There will also be a stuntman to cover the more challenging tasks.

This is beyond exciting. This really is a f--- you to Rob Zombie for ruining a classic. Here's to 40 years, and 40 more that are hopefully better than the last 15.

My excitement for this movie keeps growing and growing!

I kept wondering if Castle was going to return (felt like a long shot) or if one of the other previous Michael actors was going to take the role again. Now it looks like the OG actor himself, the greatest Michael Myers, will be back!

This is beyond exciting. Although the thought of an old Mike probably sounds like the least greatest idea in the eyes of some, it shall be extremely interesting to see them take this route. In all, this may end up being a horror sequel/Halloween film like no other.

Rob Zombie's movies were indeed horrible but in a way they were out of the franchise. And to be honest, the original franchise did a great job ruining itself so...

I loved Castle's portrayal of Myers in HALLOWEEN but am not sure that a 70 year old senior citizen playing him again is a good thing. I guess it could work if he's kept in shape.........pun intended!

HOLY SHIT I did NOT know this. Nick was the best Shape and this is just way too fucking cool
