ANY SIGN OF TEA LEONI?

Not in it at all. But I'd say with certain camera angles and facial expressions or how she has her hair, the actress that plays Rita looks like how Tea did in Bad Boys 1, and Rita and Mike/Will Smith had a thing in the past. I think they are trying to turn Mike and Rita into a will they/won't they relationship. There is actually an ongoing joke with the two throughout the movie where Mike seems like he wants to get back together with Rita and Martin Lawrence keeps calling him a dumbass every time he misses his opportunity. So it's possible that Rita could be a replacement for Tea's character.

The Julie Mott character really didn't have much of a purpose to stick around after the first film. She was a witness that the main characters had to protect from the threat that was after her.

Once said threat was taken cared of her and Mike probably dated for a bit but it didn't lead to anything special. They didn't seem to have much chemistry imo anyway unlike him and Gabrielle who I think should have returned for this but oh well. Maybe she'll be used for part 4.
