S2.Ep4 The March - wow that was dull

Sad to say and see that this series is going downhill fast. They sure managed to make a snooze-fest out of what I suspect was supposed to be a pivotal and very dramatic episode. We fast-forwarded though most of the second half and didn't miss a thing. Walking through the desert talking. Also needed to make clear to those who don't live in the Southwest why jumping off a cliff requires a 3 day walk and if there was only one outlet to the canyon why Bernadette and the Sheriff had to argue so much about what to do and how to get there. And WHAT was with what felt like 10 minutes of Joe Leaphorn just mutely staring at "blonde man" at the end???? Also that weird/awkward dinner scene between the Vines. Just vague references and awkward facial expressions for no clear reason. (P.S. I feel really bad for Jeri Ryan and the bizarre character and terrible writing she has to perform). There's a point, that it seems fewer writers appreciate, where you need to reveal a bit more of the hidden mysteries or you lose audience interest. Just SOOO many problems with this episode.
