The beginning of the movie was good then the middle got a bit weird and predictable but just a bit.
The movie lacked any witchcraft which the previews might have suggested? But the ending threw the entire film out of whack! and left the audience, well it left me wondering what the hell was that all about!

All the questions remain: was the draugr real? Will the fire solve anything? Was it just a combination of delusion, brought on by guilt/hunger superstition which made them turn on each other? How long had that Basque sailor been lurking around- did he steal the fish and the bait?
There were three left. Just a tacked on twist in the end resolved nothing. Imagine burning your primary shelter in that climate.
Hell of a moody first and second act, though.
Yes, you are correct, the movie left the audience out in left field not knowing but guessing a possible scenario for the demise of the outpost!
