That poor girl, I felt so bad for her. Mira seemed so indifferent to her, if not downright blunt and mean. And the aunt about to pull a knife on her! Hoarding was just a part of that dysfunction.

I wonder about the back story of why her mother and grand parents dislike her. My morbid mind is thinking she's a child of rape. Back in the early 70s(?), people still blamed the victim as if she was asking for it.
