UK VERSION - Hoarders: Buried Alive!

This show is MUCH easier to watch. It's the UK version and while the hoards are out of control the houses are usually in pretty good shape. You don't see dead rats, dog feces, etc. You see hoards of stuff. I watched an episode last night where a lady had over 3,000 dolls, a boatload of fabric and a ton of arts & craft stuff. For the most part is was in containers although ONE room was a catch all.

The other episode featured a retired Marine who's hoard was out of control. He had 10 goats and a ton of military memorabilia and "equipment". His house was cluttered but the 8 acres outside his home were ridiculous! He had stuff literally EVERYWHERE. The show ended by showing he had cleaned a lot of it up but he was in no way finished. Seems more realistic than the American versions.

It's much easier to watch these shows. I've had to turn off Hoarders and Hoarding: Buried Alive because I just can't watch the filth, urine & excrement. It's disgusting!

True... who wants to see the "Mountain" of poo they have in their bathroom because the toilet doesn't work anymore, or the 85 dead cats they forgot to feed.....

Once I did wrong, I heard it ever, Twice I did right, I heard it never!

Yeah, I can't watch that stuff. It makes my stomach turn. I can't imagine ANYONE living like that, yet some people do. It's sad, horrifying and bewildering all at once.

The UK version is a piece of cake by comparison.

I used to watch the UK show How Clean is Your House, so I know pigs exist EVERYWHERE but their hoarding show is much easier on the eyes. And the mind!! lol

I like to watch Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners on Channel 4. I get some good tips on cleaning my house with it ^_^

Thanks! I found it on Youtube! I'm going to check it out.

New series of "Obsessive" started a couple of weeks ago! Anyone, pm me for some free sites that are streaming it.
I was disappointed with one aspect of the latest episode a few days ago. They recast Vijay from a different reality show last year. Back then, he and his family were on "Eat well for less?"

I don't like that version as much.
Not every episode of Hoarders has feces everywhere. I had to see one episode of it just to believe it. It was gross beyond my wildest imagination. Even watching it, I could barely comprehend how anyone could live like that.
Also, I hadn't recently eaten and wasn't planning on eating after viewing......I think that helped, lol.
