The whole country is after them apparently, so they just hop on a bus wearing the exact clothes and same hairstyles as when they were caught with a body in their trunk? I mean, you watch The Americans, they wear disguises for everything they do. Was Annie dying her hair brown when she was supposed to be dead the most creative thing the writers can think of?

Yeah that's one of the faults of this series. And its called "Covert Affairs". Annnie looks the same in every other mission. At least Alias lived up to its name.

Comparing a show like The Americans, where the star characters are communist spies in America at a time when being a spy caught in America would get you immediately thrown in jail or even killed on the spot, yeah that's a realistic comparison.

You are "beating a dead horse".

This has been an on-going, often-mentioned compliant since the series started.

I would even settle for just a hat to cover all those golden locks.

But, I know, there is no hope! It doesn’t make sense, and no doubt, it’s never going to change.
