Covert Affairs and Alias are fun shows, but Sydny Bristow and Annie Walker are honestly the worst spies in the world of fiction. Their covers are blown on most of their operations so quickly, they get made in 30 minutes or less. Expert superspies undercover are better than this, it would take months or years to blow their cover or they never get made. But I guess it has to be that way to have all those car chase and gun fight scenes, and hand to hand combat too.
