8 Grounded : best so far in Season 4

Annie smiles, again... Piper's amazing choppers, lots more fun when she's happy... I think Grounded is Best of Season, one of the Best of Series: the plot twists & turnings, the tension, the showdowns, the uncertainties -- Perabo shows some really fine acting -- and even Auggie, who isn't my favorite, shines in this one, all his girlfriend-problems finally are growing him up, he handles the nasty girlfriend well, both script & actor. I've been waiting, for Annie to break out -- it's been a long wait, her "character development " was really interesting, but grim, and as of the last episode she'd pretty much hit bottom, with all the brutality & general violence & weird sex even. But in Grounded she shines -- grace under pressure, both script & actor here too. And that final scene, after a wonderful build-up... no spoiler but wait for it... I think if someone wants to introduce someone else to the entire Series, 4/8 Grounded would be the episode I'd suggest. To a veteran who watches each several times it's been a long dark tunnel and 4/8 Grounded at last shows some light -- that amazing smile, but also The Career suddenly is on the table, yanked from where it's been background-lurking all this time, so Independence becomes the issue, front & center, and that is really interesting to watch. Kudos to Perabo & her writers!
