NEW HERE! Just wondering?!

Okay I only recently got into Covert Affairs because its on Netflix, quickly fell in love and have been binge watching ever since...I'm on season three and I know Simon Fischer is supposed to be this bad guy but he just doesn't seem that way! I love the character and his relationship with Annie...Does this end badly?? I'd be okay with her turning him into an asset or just arresting him but please don't say he's killed or something!! Yes I am aware I'm asking for spoilers but I don't care hahahahaha
Also really shocked they killed Jai in the first episode! Especially with the reveal about his father I thought he would become much more involved in the storyline this season, does anyone know if this was because the actor wished to leave the show or ? It just felt really outta nowhere for me...maybe thats because I've literally been watching the seasons back to back, unlike a wait in between but just curious!
