Soooo..... Family

Last season Annie faked her death and Auggie had to notify Danielle. We have not seen or heard anything of her family. Do they still think she's dead? That's kinda cruel. Yes, it would seem like a trick to have been told a loved one is dead, and then later informed it was all a mistake or a deep undercover mission. However, it's better to be told upfront rather than in the future accidentally running into someone you believed to be dead all these years. Does anyone remember Auggie's reaction when discovering Jessica (I think that was her name) wasn't dead?

Yeah, it kinda seems that they just cut the familie-aspect away from the story, which is strange since they did such a big deal about it in the beginning and because it's such a big plot/story-hole.

Although I thought the charter of Annie's sister was overly whiney and needy, she brought balance to the show and made it a lot more believable. Just ditching her was a really bad move, and I didn't really even like the character!

They had to ditch the family. It was getting tedious having Annie explain her absence, no contact all the time (they thought she worked at an art museum?) Danielle was so freaking annoying, it was weird in the storyline to jump back to the weird whiney sister and her family. That was a lot of time-wasted for the writers - to deal with Annie's job and the lies to her idiot sister. It flows much better now, without that side story.
