I so wanted McQuaid to be the bad guy
I hate mic bishop and was hoping they'd find out he was the bad guy and kill him off. He ruins the show for me, and now he's going to be back.

shareHate is kinda a strong word :) He's not exactly the strongest character and he's kinda one dimensional, but I don't think they'll kill him off.
shareThey should kill him off! He's a terrible actor. I don't see any real chemistry between him and Annie. And the whole Kaitlin thing was stupid! It would have made more sense for it to have been McQuaid.
shareThe way they presented McQuaid would have made it stupid if he turned out to be the mole/cuprit. It wouldn't make sense. Caitlyn was so obvious from her introduction.

I completely disagree with you, and I have a right to my own opinion. We'll Nic Bishop is a series killer anyway. If he stays, it's likely C A will end shortly.
shareI never said you didn't have a right to your opinion, and I can see your bias against the actor..but I'm speaking in the context of the show.
Had they presented McQuaid slightly differently, it'd be more plausible he was the one behind it all, but the way he was written in the show, it's harder to believe he would do such acts. When we're introduced to Caitlyn, her role - it was an obvious scream that it was her. We didn't know why (still don't)...but they made it obvious it was her.

That makes it seem, more, like a case for why he should have been the bad guy. It's horrible if you can read the characters right off, to tell if they will, or will not be, the big bad. It should be more of a murky situation than that.
shareHis playing James Bond and going on missing, someone has to run the business so her doing her dirt and his not being aware is plausible.
shareI tend to hate it when shows bring in a character solely to be the seasonal “love interest” without any real reason for the characters to be together. It’s not just that I feel no ‘chemistry’ between the actors, but it seemed so forced and for no other reason than this is the typical storyline they deliver.
One shot killed the bad guy, or in this case bad girl, Caitlyn, but several shots to the chest only wounds McQuaid!?!? I knew immediately that he wasn’t gonna die, but I was hoping that the call Arthur got was to inform him that he was dead.
When she was in his place drinking and making out with him with no real development and Auggie was telling her not to trust the guy I knew that she would not only sleep with him, but he would not be the bad guy (not yet anyway). I really don’t like the McQuaid character, but that’s just because I’m not a sheep that goes along with typical stories. Just because a character is written as charming, hot or mysterious does not mean that any of those tags stick.
I've said it before and I’ll say it again, there is no need to introduce a different “love interest” every season or every several episodes. If they stop trying to create chemistry with these throw away characters and focus on getting a very likable and familiar character like Eyal more than just a few episodes, it would boost ratings a lot more than several contrived stories involving Annie and the latest flavor of the month! But that’s just my opinion.
I WANNA CONQUER THE WORLD... or at least the tri-state area
So you are saying that only sheep like McQuaid?
You must vote democrat -if at all- with convictions like that
I like Mcquaid and don't feel it forced. I also think they have chemistry. I would have not liked if he was the bad guy and I hope he stays and Annie continues to work with him and the cia
shareI was expecting him to be the Postman. But Cook was clearly trouble from day one.
shareI am still hoping McQuaid will be turned into a bad guy. Him being a good guy and her new boyfriend is corny.
shareMost of the plots are corny.
shareI don't know, I think McQuaid being the bad guy would be mightly cliched, but I could totally see it happening. Lately, more and more of television shows and movies throw logic out the window to create a "shock reveal". The problem is that when every show does a shock reveal, it becomes neither shocking nor revealing.
What? The first rule about Clone Club is we don't talk about Clone Club?
Sadly, this show is riddled with cliches, so having McQuaid be "the big bad" wouldn't be surprising. I'm actually getting tired of them always bringing on new characters, have them be gray ("Are they a good guy or a bad guy?") and then just have everything work out so that character is a "good guy." I too fully expected McQuaid to be a bad guy, and it could still happen, but the way the writing happens on this show, it probably won't; and the big season "cliffhanger" will probably be this juvenile nonsense of "Who will Annie choose? Auggie or McQuaid?" I really don't get why they've written the show this way, and why they're forcing her to be with guys she has no chemistry with, hoping chemistry will magically appear and it'll all work out. I suppose the only good thing about Annie being with McQuaid is it's showing even more that she needs to be with a man, and not Auggie, her BFF.
