First time watching Louie, watched Elevator 1-6, have a few questions...

What was the point of Todd Barry's story of the misspelled sign? What was the point of the guy looking for a dog? What was that naked man running through the rain saying?
Really like this show, just wondering about these things.

I don't think there is a point. I used to ask questions about scenes all the time but I've learnt now after 4 seasonss that it's not a conventional show. There is no continuity and there are no staged moments where you are supposed to laugh.

My friend told me to watch it. However he led me down the wrong path. He said because I like Curb, Seinfeld, Extras, The Office and Episodes I will like it but it is nothing like any of those shows. However I still like it :)

There may not be a point. Maybe he did have a point and leaves it up to you to find, or find your own. Maybe he had no point, but just for you to find a point of your own. There has been meanings that people find in seemingly meaningless scenes, and different people find different meanings in them. Maybe it is actually pointless. Maybe the scene contains the meaning of life. Maybe the point is that the meaning of life is pointless. It's a Rorschach. What does it mean to You?

To Love and win is the best thing. To Love and lose, the next best.
