Horace and Pete

Have you guys watched Horace and Pete at all, Louie's new online show? And if so what were your thoughts?

I've bought both episodes from the website. In typical CK fashion it is very structurally unique both production and content wise, playing off more like a 50s play than an actual TV show. The pacing and style takes a bit to get used to, it's not that similar to Louie at all. I would say it's definitely worth it though as a fine character study piece- the cast is fantastic, especially Buscemi and Alda. My one issue is some of the drama is occasionally a little hokey- I think the reoccurring plot of CK's strained relationship with his daughter is pretty bland in comparison to that sort of surreal but blunt drama in Louie.

We'll see what happens though, I like how they are filmed/reference real things during the week and released on Saturday.
