OK, so about Pamela...

I have not started watching season 5 yet, but the last few episodes of season 4 with Pamela were at times a little painful.

Seriously - is she supposed to have some sort of personality disorder or mental issues? She goes back and forth between being a pretty cool chick to a pretty crappy person fairly regularly and with little warning, and for me the good stuff is not nearly good enough to have to put up with the bad.
(Having said that, I've never slept with her, so maybe Louie's got more of a vested interest in sticking it out.)

Everybody has mental issues.

Also have you seen Louie lol?

PS: Honestly what I love about that story is that Louie is so in love with Pamela that he makes her love him. Like she isn't attracted or in love with him really one bit. They understand each other perfectly but she just isn't that much into him. But him loving her simply makes her love him back. That's a bit of an old school idea about love like in arranged marriage. You're supposed to love each other, just be kind and loving to each other every day. But she is kinda struggling against it. Well maybe that sounds cheesy but I feel like that is what is great about that story line.

Similar to "The Unbearable Lightness Of Being" if you read / watched it.

She's not mentally ill lol. It's got more to do with her protecting herself. A defense mechanism. We all have that. She puts on this front because she may have been hurt in the past. I've known several girls like this. Hell, guys too. She has moments of letting her guard down because that's what Louie makes her do with how he is with her, but if she takes notice then she might slam on the brakes before things get out of hand. People are complicated. Not everything is how it is in the movies and this show and the relationship between these two reflect that. Quite perfectly, I might add.

*beep* off, you goddamn *beep* *beep*

True...agree with all you have written...but I have a really hard time finding a reason to like her at all. Not that I'm required to like her...but I wish I did.
