Yeah, it may be reruns. Parts can seem like they're scripted - When they bring in the experts to appraise a signature or rarity of antiquity

Yes, and with more actual history than most History Channel shows. (I'm looking at you, Ancient Aliens and Oak Island).

The “In search of” on Oak Island was a great episode. All 20 minutes worth. History’s Oak island is now on its 37th season of finding nothing.
