Chumlee is free

Chumlee is free

Chumlee was potentially facing some serious drug and weapon charges, but prosecutors came up with a pretty sweet plea deal for the reality show star. The judge ordered Russell to undergo counseling and will be put on probation until 2019 in exchange for a guilty plea. The felony charges were dropped, and the 33-year-old will just have a misdemeanor on his record.

He still faces two to five years in state prison on the weapon possession charges if he gets himself in trouble again.

No sexual assault charge was filed either, according to Fox News.

Chum can breath a sigh of relief β€” he is officially free.

The weapons charge is unconstitutional.
Most of his guns were registered. (Which is not required.)

The right to keep and bear arms (often referred to as the right to bear arms or to have arms) is the people's right to possess arms for their own defense, as described in the philosophical and political writings of Aristotle, Cicero, John Locke, Machiavelli, the English Whigs and others.

The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

People who have been to prison before can not have guns.

reply

His weapons were registered. (Even though they didn't have to be.)

Where in the Constitution does it say ex-prisoners can't have weapons, or practice self-defense?

And in 1934, 80 years ago, a law was passed to keep felons from owning guns. I wish you would discontinue the ongoing embarrassment you're bring upon yourself by keeping your account active on this site. The level of whatever is wrong with the functioning of your brain to the point you're looked down upon by everyone in society is severe. Please get whatever is wrong with you fixed.

I don't care. 1913 income tax law was illegally passed.

Many laws are unconstitutional, and it's time to start repealing them.

Yeah......see, what you care about doesn't mean anything. You will one day realize you don't matter, you drop dead tomorrow and not a single person blinks an eye.

Not a good comeback at all.

Also, a response like that only means you don't have any facts to back up what you say.

lol, your the commie, materialist scum. The Constitution is nothing more than a Freemasons rag. Its laws are governed by due process. Sorry to burst your bubble. If they want to pass a law felons can't have weaponry, so be it says the Constitution. It is no different than passing laws for crimes of 'word' hazing and then cry out '1st amendment'.

Oh, by the way, the Income Tax was passed quite legally. Some would say how wealth is gathered is unconstitutional, which is quite funny as well.

Fact is, without the bourgeois state, most of you wouldn't survive in a true cold world. The strong would gather great tribes and run the show just like 2000 years ago.

reply

Whether the law is unconstitional or not, Chumlee will still be put in prison for it until his lawyers can convince the Supreme Court to overturn it.

reply

Well, he's out now.

This will happen state by state, like it already is.

Many states have Constitutional carry now.
