The Iceman is an excellent picture and to say Michael Shannon is brilliant as Richard Kuklinski is a serious understatement. Shannon can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned and he deserves a prize for his work here. Winona Ryder is finally on the right track giving a performance that is sure to put her back on the a-list. Igore the bad reviews because as always the critics are wrong.

But a poorly told, pointless story
No drama AT ALL
Subpar direction, to say the least
ANYONE could have directed this film from the way it has been directed here
Not a novel or interesting idea coming from this director

I felt it was average, love the book, the film glosses over the story quite a bit and was a dissapointment, not a bad film but should have been far better. It would have been nice for them to spend more time on the other characters as well as his upbringing.
