Saw it last night - Really enjoyed it! (spoilers)

It opened in Ireland and the UK on Friday June 7th, and i went to see it last night, there was about 30-40 other people in my screen, quite good considering the weather has been amazing here and no one wants to go to the cinema.

Well anyway I really enjoyed it, i have never read the book or watched the documentary's on Richard Kuklinski, but i had wikipedia/googled him before I went just to get a brief background on him (which I think helps when going to see this).

The setting and feel of the film was awesome, really felt like the 70's.

Michael Shannon was just, as to be expected, amazing. So good, i was terrified of him, right from that 1st scene when his eyes went cold when that douche insulted him at the pool table. I REALLY hope he gets recognition, he deserves at least an oscar nomination.

Winona Ryder was excellent. I have always liked her and was delighted to see her in a big role again.

However I was most surprised by Chris Evans, I had only seen him in Captain America (which i didn't really enjoy) and some awful rom-com with Anna Faris, but he was brilliant in his twisted role, perfect for the part!

Ray Liotta and David Schwimmer were also great! Cast played an important part in my enjoyment of this movie

Favourite scenes: Richard & Mr Freezy attend a disco to kill their next victim.
Richard flips out at Deborah.

Read a book called The Iceman-confessions of a mafia contact killer, and you will realise how much they have left out and what rubbish they have left in.

In fairness that is the main complaint about books that are adapted to screen, they can't include everything or it would be like a 4 hour movie
